PSE&G brings online 3-MW solar storage project in New Jersey

Public Service Electric and Gas Co. placed into operation a 3-MWac solar storage project at the Borough of Pennington, N.J., Department of Public Works building.

The system is one of four similar projects that the Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. completed as part of its Solar 4 All program. The storage system hosts 1,188 panels with 574-kWh Tesla Energy lithium-ion batteries, according to a May 17 release.

Advanced Solar Products Inc. provided engineering, procurement and construction services for the project.

Solar 4 All is a 158-MWdc solar program that utilizes rooftops, parking lots, utility poles and landfills/brownfields for large-scale, grid-connected solar projects.
