Xplore Technologies Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to 5 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 8 cents per share.
EPS decreased 71.1% year over year from 18 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $593,750, a decline of 61.1% from $1.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 2.2% from 9.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 64.3% on an annual basis to $27.0 million from $16.4 million, and total operating expenses rose 84.1% on an annual basis to $25.8 million from $14.0 million.
Reported net income fell 66.3% from the prior-year period to $807,740, or 7 cents per share, from $2.4 million, or 28 cents per share.
