Captiva Verde eyes Canada's Solargram Farms

Coquitlam, British Columbia-based real estate company Captiva Verde Land Corp. said it is in talks to acquire Solargram Farms Corp., a licensed applicant of outdoor, high-potency organic cannabis production and processing in Canada.

The deal is expected to include land assets, growing assets, proprietary intellectual property and technological expertise necessary in the management and operations of planned outdoor organic cannabis sites. It is also slated to include cannabis oil concentrate processing facilities, according to a release.

The transaction is subject to Solargram obtaining Canadian Health Canada cannabis cultivation and processing licenses from the Canadian Federal Government.

Additionally, Captiva tapped PRØHBTD Media Inc. CEO Drake Sutton-Shearer to chair its newly created advisory board, which will seek to support the company's operations and initiatives in North America.
