Barclays swings to Q3 loss of £292M from year-ago profit of £1.05B

Barclays PLC reported an attributable loss of £292 million in the third quarter, compared to a profit of £1.05 billion in the same period a year ago.

For the first nine months, the British banking group's after-tax profit attributable to equity holders of the parent increased year over year to £1.78 billion from £1.61 billion.
