Digital Realty unit prices €1.7B debt offering

A unit of Digital Realty Trust Inc.'s operating partnership, Digital Realty Trust LP, priced a €1.7 billion offering of senior unsecured notes due 2022, 2025 and 2030.

The notes, to be issued by Digital Dutch Finco BV, consist of three series: €300.0 million of 0.125% notes due Oct. 15, 2022; €650.0 million of 0.625% notes due July 15, 2025; and €750.0 million of 1.500% notes due March 15, 2030. Interests on all three series of notes will be paid annually in arrears, from and including Jan. 17.

The data center real estate investment trust aims to allocate an amount equal to the net proceeds from the offering of the 2025 notes and 2030 notes to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, recently completed or future green building, energy and resource efficiency and renewable energy projects.

It plans to use the net proceeds from the offering of the 2022 notes to temporarily repay borrowings outstanding under the operating partnership's global credit facilities, among other uses.

The offering is set to close Jan. 17.
