Fitch withdraws merged German co-op banks' ratings

Fitch Ratings on Nov. 21 withdrew the ratings of 42 German cooperative banks that merged in 2017 with other members of the Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe.

The agency withdrew the AA-/F1+ long- and short-term issuer default ratings and deposit ratings of Raiffeisen- und Volksbank Dahn eG, Raiffeisenbank eG Herxheim, Volksbank Triberg eG, Raiffeisenbank Trostberg-Traunreut eG, Volksbank Vilshofen eG, VR-Bank Feuchtwangen-Limes eG, Raiffeisenbank Grafenwöhr-Kirchenthumbach eG, Raiffeisen-Volksbank Kronach-Ludwigsstadt eG, Volksbank eG Steyerberg, Volksbank Clenze-Hitzacker eG, Volksbank Weserbergland eG, Credit- und Volksbank eG, Volksbank Rhein-Wupper eG, Volksbank Wipperfuerth-Lindlar eG, Raiffeisenbank Grevenbroich eG, Volksbank Wachtberg eG, Volksbank Lette-Darup-Rorup eG, Volksbank Laer-Horstmar-Leer eG, Volksbank Hörste eG, Volksbank Kirchhellen eG Bottrop, Volksbank Minden eG, VR-Bank Chattengau eG, Volksbank Montabaur - Höhr-Grenzhausen eG, Volksbank Mülheim-Kärlich eG, Nufringer Bank - Raiffeisen - eG, Darmsheimer Bank eG, Volksbank Schwäbisch Gmünd eG, VR Bank Tübingen eG, Volksbank Weingarten eG, Volksbank Allgäu-West eG, Volksbank Friedrichshafen eG, Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG, VR-Bank Erding eG, Raiffeisenbank Höhenkirchen und Umgebung eG, Raiffeisenbank Krumbach/Schwaben eG, Raiffeisenbank Sonnenwald eG, Raiffeisenbank im Stiftland eG, Raiffeisenbank Weiden eG, VR Bank Bayreuth-Hof eG, Raiffeisenbank Großostheim-Obernburg eG, Raiffeisenbank Ronshausen-Marksuhl eG and Dresdner Volksbank Raiffeisenbank eG.

Fitch said it withdrew the ratings because the banks no longer exist as separate entities following their merger.
