Mithril Resources Ltd. said June 5 that it applied for exploration license EL09/2315, which forms the Genoa Bore copper-zinc project in Western Australia, covering 340 square kilometers.
According to Mithril, historical rock chip sampling at the project and wide-spaced drilling returned indications of copper and zinc mineralization. A data compilation, review and target generation program will be conducted ahead of the tenement's grant, which is expected to take place within the next 12 months.
The addition of the license application expands its exploration portfolio, which already includes the Kurnalpi nickel project and Billy Hills zinc project in Western Australia.
