South Korea's Shinhan Bank issues 200B won of CoCo bonds

Shinhan Bank Co. Ltd. said March 15 that it will issue 200 billion South Korean won of contingent convertible bonds with a write-down feature.

The issuance comprises a 10-year tranche of 150 billion won with a coupon of 3.37% and a 15-year tranche of 50 billion won with a coupon of 3.53%.

Shinhan Bank is a unit of Shinhan Financial Group Co. Ltd.

As of March 15, US$1 was equivalent to 1,066.95 South Korean won.
