Starbucks, JPMorgan Chase launch co-branded prepaid card

Starbucks Corp. said June 11 that it partnered with JPMorgan Chase & Co. to offer the Starbucks Rewards Visa Inc. prepaid card.

The Seattle-based coffee giant said the general purpose reloadable card will allow customers to earn points from purchases they make with the card, including from stores other than Starbucks.

The launch follows the introduction of Starbucks' co-branded Visa credit card with Chase in February.
