BTG Pactual Colombia, Inverlink to launch real estate investment fund

Colombia-based BTG Pactual SA Comisionista de Bolsa and Inverlink SA will launch a real estate joint venture through the creation of an investment fund, according to a report by La República.

Tandem Capital will reportedly manage real estate assets through the Tandem Rentas Inmobiliarias investment fund. The agreement by the two companies still requires the green light from regulators.

The CEO and founding member of Inverlink, Felipe Encinales, will be the CEO of Tandem Capital, the report said.

According to BTG Pactual Colombia CEO Juan Rafael Pérez, the fund created by the venture has an initial capital of nearly 1.1 trillion Colombian pesos.

As of Dec. 18, US$1 was equivalent to 3,201.80 Colombian pesos.
