ABN AMRO names new head of German ops

ABN AMRO Group NV appointed Hans Hanegraaf country executive for Germany and CEO of Bethmann Bank AG, succeeding Horst Schmidt.

Hanegraaf, who joined ABN AMRO in 1995, is currently country executive for Singapore and head of private banking for Asia and the Middle East.

Schmidt will leave ABN AMRO in the summer after 13 years with the group.
