RH said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 1 amounted to 48 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 47 cents per share.
EPS increased 43.9% year over year from 33 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $19.7 million, a gain of 45.1% from $13.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 4.1% from 3.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 22.4% year over year to $484.7 million from $395.8 million, and total operating expenses rose 20.4% on an annual basis to $448.0 million from $372.0 million.
Reported net income grew on an annual basis to $19.5 million, or 47 cents per share, from $9.4 million, or 23 cents per share.
