Pure Gold discovers new gold zone at Madsen's Russet South target

Pure Gold Mining Inc. said March 27 that it discovered a new zone of near surface gold mineralization at the Russet South target within its Madsen gold project in Ontario.

The new zone is located on the eastern side of Russet South, about 200 meters north and along strike of 2015 and 2016 intercepts. Highlights include 23.1 g/t of gold over 1.9 meters, 8.3 g/t of gold over 1.7 meters and 4.4 g/t of gold over 12.0 meters.

In addition to the discovery, the company noted that drilling expanded the scale and demonstrated continuity of mineralization in this area.

Pure Gold's 2017 exploration program is ongoing with four drill rigs, testing resource growth potential near the mine infrastructure and along the strike length of the Madsen mineral system.
