AT&T Inc. on March 28 closed the sale of $800 million of its floating-rate global notes due 2020.
The company sold an initial $500 million in notes pursuant to a March 23 underwriting agreement between AT&T and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, as the representative of the underwriter; and an additional $300 million pursuant to a March 24 underwriting agreement between the company and J.P. Morgan Securities, as the representative of the underwriter.
AT&T intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.
