Report: 9 Kuwaiti firms to list on FTSE Russell index

Nine Kuwaiti companies will be listed on the Financial Times Stock Exchange, or FTSE, Russell index, Kuwait News Agency reported Dec. 3.

The companies — Kuwait Finance House KSCP, Zain Telecommunications Co., Agility Logistics Co., Boubyan Bank K.S.C.P., Mezzan Holding Co. K.S.C.P., Warba Bank KSCP, Kuwait International Bank KSCP, National Industries Co. - KPSC and Al Imtiaz Investment Group Co. — satisfied the criteria required for listing on the FTSE Russell index as of Sept. 28 closing, the report noted, citing a statement by the country's Capital Markets Authority on Boursa Kuwait Securities Co. K.P.S.C's website.

The stock exchange index is expected to release a new guidance list for the companies in March 2018 through its Dec. 28, 2017, closings, the news agency wrote.
