Assurant shuffles regional leadership

Assurant Inc. made regional appointments for its global operations following the completion of the Warranty Group Inc. deal.

Manfred Schmoelz will become president of Assurant Asia Pacific, while Felipe Sanchez will be country president for Assurant Mexico. They held similar roles at Warranty Group.

Gary Mann will become strategy and operations leader for Assurant's international operations. He previously was Assurant's vice president of international development.

Rich Green will take over as president of Assurant's automotive business in Europe.

Assurant also made appointments for its global automotive business. John Laudenslager will become president of Assurant Global Automotive. He formerly was president of Assurant's global vehicle protection services operations.

Charlie Robinson was named president of Assurant Resource Automotive. Justin Thomas will lead U.S. automotive national accounts, in addition to his responsibilities as president of financial services at Assurant. Thomas most recently was executive vice president of Warranty Group's North America specialty solutions division.

Daniel Lenczner takes over as senior vice president of Assurant’s third-party administrator group. He was senior vice president of the company's strategic business development division.
