The Thursday Express: Former employee says Wells Fargo mishandled fraud probes

* Matthew Valles, a former employee of Wells Fargo, accused the bank of firing him after complaining about hundreds of mishandled fraud investigations, The New York Times reports.

* Bank of America fired at least two employees from its prime brokerage unit for allegedly interfering in the bank's investigation of Managing Director Omeed Malik, who has been accused of sexual misconduct, The Wall Street Journal reports.

* Bank of New York Mellon is planning to establish an office in Saudi Arabia, sources told Reuters.

* The New York Department of Financial Services is asking Deutsche Bank, Signature Bank and New York Community Bank about their lending relationships with Jared Kushner, his family and his companies, sources told Bloomberg News.

* The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance liquidated First Jersey CU.

* PSCU has acquired CU Recovery and The Loan Service Center.

* The SEC charged "recidivist" Steven Muehler with running unregistered broker/dealers, facilitating an unregistered securities offering and defrauding small businesses.
