Apex Equity lowers FY'17 dividend, redesignates director

Apex Equity Holdings Bhd. lowered its dividend for the 2017 full year and redesignated a director.

The company proposed a single tier dividend of 2 Malaysian sen per share for 2017, down from the prior year's dividend of 5 sen per share.

The dividend is subject to shareholder approval.

In addition, Apax Equity redesignated Azizan bin Abdul Rahman as a nonindependent director. He was previously a director.

As of Feb. 22, US$1 was equivalent to 3.91 Malaysian ringgit.
