Raymond James affiliate Steward Partners sets up shop in Newtown, Conn.

Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC, an affiliate of financial services firm Raymond James Financial Services Inc., opened an office in Newtown, Conn.

The independent partnership also expanded its advisory team with the addition of the Kortze Brother Wealth Management Group, which will be based in the new site. The new location is Steward Partners' first in Connecticut and its 16th across the U.S.

Kortze Brother hails from Wells Fargo, where they administered $500 million in client assets, according to a July 24 release.

Steward Partners advises family, institutional and multigenerational wealth clients.
