Fibra Inn's Holiday Inn Mexico Coyoacan hotel partially resumes operations

Fibra Inn said 71 of the 214 rooms of its Holiday Inn Mexico Coyoacan hotel resumed operations as of Oct. 7.

Minor repairs for damages sustained from the Sept. 19 earthquake continue, and the company will be reopening rooms during October and November as each floor is reconstructed.

Fibra Inn expects the partial closure of the hotel to impact its total revenues by about 9.2 million Mexican pesos for the rest of 2017 because of collateral losses, which will be covered by its insurance policy. The hotel will make up about 3.9% of the company's total revenues for 2017.

As of Oct. 9, US$1 was equivalent to 18.65 Mexican pesos.
