AB Dynamics PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended Aug. 31 amounted to 8 Great British pence per share, an increase of 52.8% from 5 pence per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £1.4 million, an increase of 52.8% from £945,370 in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 25.3% on an annual basis to £9.0 million from £7.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 19.5% year over year to £6.7 million from £5.6 million.
Reported net income increased 54.5% year over year to £2.0 million, or 11 pence per share, from £1.3 million, or 7 pence per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 13 pence per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 15 pence.
EPS rose 42.6% from 9 pence in the prior year.
Normalized net income was £2.4 million, an increase of 42.6% from £1.7 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose 19.3% on an annual basis to £16.5 million from £13.8 million, and total operating expenses increased 14.2% year over year to £12.8 million from £11.2 million.
The company said reported net income rose 50.8% year over year to £3.2 million, or 18 pence per share, in the full year, from £2.2 million, or 12 pence per share.
