The Arkansas State Banking Board approved the conversion of Forrest City, Ark.-based Armor Bank NA from a national bank to an Arkansas state-chartered bank. The state charter was granted June 28.

Concurrent with the charter conversion, the bank changed its name to Armor Bank.

The bank is a subsidiary of Forrest City Financial Corp., and Big Creek Bancshares Inc. is the bank's ultimate parent.
