Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC said it acquired Germany-based specialty marine insurance broker OWL Marine Insurance Brokers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In a May 15 statement, JLT said the deal will further strengthen JLT Specialty's marine and cargo division and is in line with the group's global strategy.
