Amazon Australia launches repeat delivery service

Amazon.com Inc.'s Australian arm on Oct. 23 launched its "Subscribe and Save" program, which allows customers to use scheduled repeat delivery service on products they routinely purchase. The service also includes a 10% discount on items and free delivery.

The program covers a variety of product categories, including paper towels, toilet paper, laundry powder, shower gel, dishwasher tablets, diapers, infant wipes, snack foods, coffee, cold drinks, pet food and vitamins.

Amazon Australia said a Subscribe and Save icon will be displayed next to eligible products on the Amazon.com.au website.

The 10% discount and free delivery perks will apply after the initial order, the company said, with the discount remaining constant even if prices on individual items change.

Customers can also opt to skip, cancel or change deliveries, the company said.
