Sirius International Insurance Group Ltd. made a number of key appointments and launched a global management committee.
The company named Monica Manhem president for global reinsurance; Jan Onselius chief underwriting officer for global reinsurance; Warren Trace president for North American reinsurance and deputy chief underwriting officer for the Americas; Patrick Chamberland executive vice president for international reinsurance; Dan Wilson president for U.S. specialty insurance; Neal Wasserman president for global runoff solutions and Stuart Liddell as global head of life, accident and health.
Incoming Chief Information Officer Beth Boucher was appointed to the new global management committee with other executive officers including Gene Boxer, executive vice president, chief strategy officer and group general counsel, Ralph Salamone, executive vice president and CFO and Jeffrey Davis, executive vice president and chief actuary and chief risk officer.
The new global management committee will also be comprised of business leaders including Tom Leonardo as head of U.S. accident and health, Ian Sawyer as head of casualty reinsurance, Robert Harman as managing director for Syndicate 1945 (Sirius International Managing Agency Ltd.), Simon Acland as chief underwriting officer for Syndicate 1945, Martin Hamrin as manager for group underwriting analytics and chief portfolio officer for reinsurance and Lars Andersson, who is part of the global reinsurance group.
