Exelon utilities issue request for proposals for 600 MW of capacity in PJM

Five Exelon Corp. subsidiaries issued a joint-utility request for proposals seeking a combined unforced capacity of 600 MW, according to a March 23 news release.

Atlantic City Electric Co., Baltimore Gas and Electric Co., Commonwealth Edison Co., Delmarva Power & Light Co. and Potomac Electric Power Co. plan to combine the winter resources with their summer resources to offer capacity performance resources into the PJM Interconnection's May base residual auction.

More information on the request for proposals is available on the Ariba platform. Interested bidders may submit their contact information via www.bge.com/cpaggregation to gain access to the platform.

Responses must be submitted by April 9.
