Fed terminates enforcement action against A.E. Bank

The Federal Reserve Board on Jan. 10 announced the termination of its July 2010 enforcement action against Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based American Enterprise Bank, a unit of A. E. Bancorp Inc.

Rosemont, Ill.-based Wintrust Financial Corp. unit Northbrook Bank & Trust Co. bought substantially all of the banking assets and substantially all of the deposit liabilities of American Enterprise Bank in 2018.
