Apple Inc. on Sept. 30 launched its Apple News+ subscription service in the U.K., with more than 150 publications on its platform.
Apple News+ in the U.K. carries British publications, such as The Times and The Sunday Times, Cosmopolitan UK, Elle UK, Esquire UK and FourFourTwo. It also offers U.S. newspapers, magazines and digital outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek and National Geographic, among others.
Apple News+ is available for a free one-month trial and will cost £9.99 a month thereafter. Subscribers of the digital news platform can access current and past issues, as well as individual articles from magazines and digital outlets.
The U.K. launch coincides with the news service's launch in Australia, and follows its introduction in the U.S. and Canada in March.
