UnitedHealth unit sells healthcare services company Connextions

TeleTech Holdings Inc on April 4 acquired Connextions Inc., a healthcare services company, from UnitedHealth Group Inc.'s OptumHealth Holdings LLC, for $80 million.

Connextions will be part of TeleTech's customer management services segment, making healthcare one of TeleTech's largest verticals with annualized revenue expected to exceed $300 million. The acquisition is also expected to add about $115 million in revenue annually to TeleTech and to be EBITDA accretive in 2017.

Connextions provides member acquisition, retention and engagement services to healthcare plans, providers and pharmacy benefits managers.
