Postal Savings Bank of China names president

Postal Savings Bank of China Co. Ltd. named Guo Xinshuang president and executive director.

The appointment will take effect from the date of approval from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, the bank said Jan. 16. Among others, Guo previously held executive roles at China Post Group Corp., China Everbright (Group) Corp. and China Export & Credit Insurance Corp.

Separately, the bank said Jan. 17 that Tang Jian resigned as a nonexecutive director, effective the same day. Tang resigned due to his age.
