Torian acquires surface rights to gold tenements in Western Australia

Torian Resources Ltd. acquired the surface rights to tenements at nil consideration in two areas near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, which will be explored as part of a profit-share agreement with Strategic Projects Mining Pty Ltd.

The two tenements are North Kanowna Star and Mayday, which have a number of dumps and stockpiles from historic production, and the company plans to start sampling the dumps and stockpiles immediately, according to the Sept. 3 news release.

Torian recently secured an option to acquire the Bonnie Vale gold project in Western Australia.
