Focus Minerals Ltd. on May 29 reported an upgraded JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate for the Greenfields deposit of the Coolgardie gold property in Western Australia.

Using a cutoff grade of over 1 g/t of gold, the deposit hosts total mineral resource of 1.39 million dry tonnes grading 1.7 g/t of gold for 77,000 contained ounces.

This included an indicated resource of 1.33 million tonnes grading 1.7 g/t of gold for 72,500 contained ounces and an inferred resource of 66,000 tonnes at 2 g/t of gold for 4,500 contained ounces.

The resource estimate was based on 158 historic drill holes including reverse circulation and diamond drill holes.
