Pharol Q1 loss widens 51.7% YOY

Pharol SGPS SA said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to a loss of 5 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 3 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €40.8 million, compared with a loss of €26.9 million in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income totaled a loss of €65.9 million, or a loss of 8 cents per share, compared to a loss of €43.0 million, or a loss of 5 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
