Noni B swings to profit in fiscal H1

Noni B Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 27, 2015, was 8 Australian cents per share, compared with a loss of 5 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$2.5 million, compared with a loss of A$1.5 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose year over year to A$57.5 million from A$55.7 million, and total operating expenses declined 7.8% on an annual basis to A$53.6 million from A$58.1 million.

Reported net income totaled A$2.8 million, or 8 cents per share, compared to a loss of A$2.3 million, or a loss of 7 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
