Ingredient distributor Univar Inc. said Feb. 20 that it has entered into a long-term agreement with privately held company Cargill Inc.'s food ingredients and bio-industrial business to improve its brand and product portfolio across multiple food categories.

Meanwhile, Cargill said the partnership will strengthen the company's supply chain, e-commerce and technical applications support, among other components.
