All 21 miners trapped underground after a roof collapse at Baiji Mining Co. Ltd.'s Lijiagou coal mine in China's Shaanxi province were killed, Xinhua News Agency reported on Jan. 13.
At the time of the accident, 87 people were working underground, and 66 of them were lifted to safety. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
