Consumer Capital Group delays Form 10-K filing

Consumer Capital Group Inc. is delaying the filing of its annual report for fiscal year 2016 due to postponements in completing its financial statements and other disclosures.

The company is still in the process of compiling the required information necessary to complete the annual report, according to a regulatory filing. As a result, the company's independent accounting firm needs more time to review financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2016.

Consumer Capital anticipates that it will file the annual report no later than April 15.
