St. Louis-based Midwest BankCentre named Kelvin Taylor executive vice president and chief information officer. Additionally, the bank appointed Alexis Hershey senior vice president of digital assets, lending and strategy.

Taylor is the founder of Taylored Analytics. Hershey previously served as senior vice president of digital strategy at Citigroup Inc.

Midwest BankCentre is a unit of Stupp Bros. Inc.


BBVA USA Bancshares Inc. named Carin Marcy Barth a member of its board.

Barth is co-founder and president of LB Capital Inc.


Santander Holdings USA Inc. named Daniel Budington chief strategy officer for the company and Santander Bank NA, effective Jan. 8.

Budington most recently was executive director of financial planning and analysis for the company and the bank.


San Diego, Calif.-based Seacoast Commerce Bank hired Benjamin Lanier as senior vice president and Small Business Administration business development officer.

Lanier was previously with Santander Bank as a Small Business Administration officer covering the New York and New Jersey metropolitan regions.

The bank is a unit of Seacoast Commerce Banc Holdings.


Tennessee-based SmartBank appointed Travis Lytle director of community development and Community Reinvestment Act officer.

Lytle most recently was senior vice president and relationship manager for the SmartFinancial Inc. unit.


Bank of America Corp. named Peter Mannino market president for Daytona/Cocoa Beach in Florida.

Mannino will continue as the resident director of the Brevard Merrill Lynch Wealth Management office.


Citigroup named David Chubak head of U.S. retail banking, CNBC reported.

Chubak has worked at Citigroup in several roles since 2013.


Price Sloan will join Wells Fargo & Co. as chief strategic enterprise risk officer, effective Jan. 13.

Sloan's career includes multiple leadership roles at Toronto-Dominion Bank.


Nashville, Tenn.-based CapStar Bank, a unit of CapStar Financial Holdings Inc., added King Purnell to its Knoxville, Tenn., expansion team.

Purnell, who has more than 40 years of Knoxville banking experience, will be chair of CapStar's Knoxville advisory board.


Chris Carothers and Michael Vizard joined the board of Baton Rouge, La.-based First National Bankers Bankshares Inc. and its unit First National Bankers Bank. Their terms began Jan. 1.

Carothers and Vizard succeed Russell Carothers and William Walker, who retired from the board as of the same date.

Chris Carothers is president of Citizens Bank of Winfield, while Vizard is CEO of Cross Keys Bank.


Wichita, Kan.-based Emprise Bank, a unit of Emprise Financial Corp., added Derrick Nielsen to its board, Wichita Business Journal reported.

Nielsen is president and CEO of High Touch Technologies in Wichita.

Cherry Creek Mortgage Co. Inc. named Matt Garlinghouse executive vice president of capital markets.

Garlinghouse has over 20 years of experience in finance, portfolio lending, mortgage banking, capital markets, strategic acquisitions, risk management and advanced analytics.


LPL Financial LLC promoted Matt Enyedi from executive vice president to managing director of national sales.
