Arcland Service Holdings Co. Ltd. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income came to ¥17.08 per share, a gain of 19.5% from ¥14.29 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥543.6 million, a gain of 19.4% from ¥455.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 9.5% from 9.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 18.3% year over year to ¥5.70 billion from ¥4.82 billion, and total operating expenses grew 17.3% year over year to ¥4.83 billion from ¥4.12 billion.
Reported net income increased 47.1% year over year to ¥590.0 million, or ¥18.53 per share, from ¥401.0 million, or ¥12.59 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥57.65 per share, an increase of 5.1% from ¥54.86 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.84 billion, a rise of 10.6% from ¥1.66 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased 18.8% on an annual basis to ¥20.94 billion from ¥17.62 billion, and total operating expenses grew 20.1% year over year to ¥18.02 billion from ¥15.00 billion.
The company said reported net income grew 12.2% on an annual basis to ¥1.79 billion, or ¥56.29 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.60 billion, or ¥52.82 per share.
