FactSet Research Systems Inc. revised its guidance for GAAP EPS for fiscal 2019, which is now expected in the range of $8.70 and $8.85, compared to previous guidance of between $8.70 and $8.90.
The company also revised its adjusted EPS guidance, which is now expected to be between $9.50 and $9.65, compared to the previous range of $9.45 and $9.65. The company also expects its annual effective tax rate to be in the range of 17% to 18%.
The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus normalized EPS estimate for fiscal year 2019 is $9.95.
For the three months ended Feb. 28, the company recorded net income of $84.7 million, or $2.19 per share, versus $53.1 million, or $1.33 per share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted net income for the most recent quarter was $93.6 million, or $2.42 per share, up from $84.3 million, or $2.12 per share, in the year-ago period.
The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus normalized EPS estimate for the quarter was $2.34.
