Westpac issues A$150M of floating-rate notes

Westpac Banking Corp. issued A$150 million of floating-rate notes due Oct. 28, 2020.

The notes were issued Nov. 22 at an issue price of 101.67% per denomination of A$100,000, or A$101,670 per note, including accrued interest.

The notes are to be consolidated to form a single series with A$2.10 billion worth of notes issued in October 2015 and A$800 million notes issued in September, the bank said.

The bank said it will use net proceeds of the issue for its general funding purposes
