Report: Former Soros Fund executive joins KKR

Private equity firm KKR & Co. tapped Waldemar Szlezak to lead its North American communications infrastructure investment team, Private Equity News reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.

Szlezak joins KKR from Soros Fund Management LLC, where he was senior managing director. At KKR, Szlezak will focus on deals related to cell towers, data centers and other assets.

KKR closed a global infrastructure fund at $7.4 billion in 2018.
