Swiss central bank alternate governing board member to depart

Thomas Wiedmer will leave Schweizerische Nationalbank as an alternate member of the governing board by June-end to "take up a new professional challenge."

Wiedmer has been with the central bank for 18 years, serving as alternate governing board member for the department covering financial stability, cash, central accounting and operational risk and security, among other areas.
