LaFramboise was a member of the compensation and human resource, audit and director loan committees.

Wells Fargo & Co. appointed Monica Cole as head of specialized industries.

Additionally, the banking giant named Jacquie Fredericks, Chris Nay, Gene Peterson and Shannan Townsend as leaders.

Fredericks, Peterson and Townsend will lead the agriculture business division for the central, west and east region respectively.

Nay will oversee the national food and beverage team for Wells Fargo Commerical Banking.

Financial Services

Strategic Investment Partners Inc. named Kenneth Shimberg as a managing director in the relationship management team.

Shimberg was previously the chief investment officer of Mercer Investment Management.

Wells Fargo Asset Management Corp. named Vincent Lu as co-head of private strategies, Pensions & Investments reported, citing a company spokesperson.

Lu was most recently a managing director and senior investment professional at GSO Capital Partners LP, Blackstone Group Inc.'s credit business, according to the report.

MSCI Inc. hired Salli Schwartz as head of investor relations and treasurer, effective Sept. 16.

Schwartz was previously Moody's Corp.'s global head of strategic capital management and treasurer.
