Julius Baer need not launch capital increase, CFO says

Swiss private bank Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. will not have to launch a capital increase unless it does a large acquisition, CFO Dieter Enkelmann told Reuters on Feb. 1.

The capital base of the bank can be fortified through its own business, he said.

The bank recorded a fully applied common equity Tier 1 capital ratio of 10.6%, at the end of 2016.
