Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) to raise US$193M in AT1 securities issue

Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd. plans to raise up to US$193 million by issuing subordinated Additional Tier 1 capital securities.

The securities have a face value of US$200,000 and issue price of 100%, the bank said Nov. 27. For the first five years, the securities will bear a fixed rate determined with reference to market conditions at the time of issuance.

The bank plans to use proceeds of the issuance to enhance its capital adequacy position.

Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) is a unit of Fubon Financial Holding Co. Ltd.
