Report: Charles Taylor, Standard Club eye Lloyd's agency sale

Willis Re Corporate Solutions is advising Charles Taylor PLC and The Standard Club on a possible sale of Charles Taylor Managing Agency and certain liabilities of Lloyd's of London Syndicate 1884, Insurance Insider reported.

Possible acquirers include Armour Holdings, Catalina, Darag, Premia and Fortitude, a legacy arm of American International Group Inc. A deal could materialize as a strategic partnership, according to the report.
