Bharti Airtel Ltd. is looking to partner with Google Inc. in deploying Wi-Fi hotspots across India, The Economic Times of India reported June 5, citing people familiar with the matter.
Google Station, a public Wi-Fi platform launched by the Alphabet Inc. unit in India in September 2016, saw the extension of Google's Wi-Fi service to public places such as malls, transit stations and universities.
Airtel previously made a similar deal with Facebook Inc. to deploy Wi-Fi hotspots.
