Kuze fiscal Q3 profit climbs 27.9% YOY

Kuze Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥8.86 per share, a gain of 27.9% from ¥6.93 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥34.4 million, an increase of 27.9% from ¥26.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 0.2% from 0.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 10.4% year over year to ¥18.38 billion from ¥16.64 billion, and total operating expenses rose 10.4% from the prior-year period to ¥18.35 billion from ¥16.62 billion.

Reported net income increased on an annual basis to ¥40.0 million, or ¥10.31 per share, from ¥15.0 million, or ¥3.87 per share.
