Société Française de Casinos fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Société Française de Casinos SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended April 30 amounted to 16 euro cents per share, a gain from 2 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €826,000, a gain from €108,750 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose 23.5% year over year to €7.0 million from €5.7 million, and total operating expenses grew 24.4% year over year to €6.7 million from €5.4 million.

Reported net income increased 51.8% from the prior-year period to €254,620, or 5 cents per share, from €167,770, or 3 cents per share.
